Bio major from UCLA with GPA of 3.69. I have been looking around this subreddit a lot and have decided I wanted to apply next fall for Spring 2025 start. From looking around this subreddit I have decided this is the path I wanted to go on to strengthen my application to get my best chance of acceptance. I just wanted some advice and thoughts on what I have decided so far. I was also wondering if you guys maybe recommended the JAVA edx mooc that Georgia tech recommends just to get a introductory java course too? I am currently working as a full time Manual QA tester at a biotech company and I have also completed Introduction to Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science Specilization (University of California San Diego).
So far I am planning on taking these courses at foothill:
OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING METHODOLOGIES IN PYTHON
INTERMEDIATE SOFTWARE DESIGN IN PYTHON
ADVANCED DATA STRUCTURES & ALGORITHMS IN PYTHON
INTRODUCTION TO LINUX
INTRODUCTION TO DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
