A Life Most Anthropological

Post Body

There once was a terribly broken child

Who was raised by wolves in the wild.

He didn't know how to speak, let alone

Know how to use any tools, like a phone.

Instead, he learned from his lupus pack

All the numerous ways he could attack

Forest animals and eat them to the bone.

Truly, this boy was the most lost known

To any scientists, because he was found

By some who discovered him on a mound,

Curled up into a ball, naked as could be.

Wanting to help, they tried to set him free

By taking him to town where he could learn

How to live like all the other boys yearn.

But, what these brainiacs could not see

Was that this boy was happiest in the trees.

So, in the dead of night, the boy escaped,

Because he was more wolf than great ape,

And he lived his life as freely as possible,

Without the need for a common domicile.

That's because the boy was not broken;

He just lived a life that's not often spoken

About in a world where comfort is optional.

Such is the nature of life most anthropological;

Waking every morning to the task to hone

Your soul more than other animals are prone;

Always learning about the one called "me,"

While actualizing your well-earned destiny;

Taking on every new challenge and obstacle,

Because as a human, you are unstoppable.
