Loneliness wrapped in solitude

Somedays it's a respite,

Someday a truce of somekind

Someday a nail piercing through my heart

Leaving me desolate

dreams in which I don't believe

a short lived smile that dissipates in the air

As hastily as it heaves, on your lips.

Curl leaving the contorted corner of your mouth,

Before sinking into your heart deep.

A star you barely see, shining for a

mere moment before disappearing

between, a flutter of an eye.

Castle made of sweets

a touch, a taste

Sugar that intoxicates

Always yearning for a momentary escape.

My mind, A deceitful companion

Ingenuity caged by fears

Insidious Imagination

A twisted, fetid thing that holds my hand

like a friend in the stillness of the night,

but whose grasp turns painful at the first

light of the day

Ignorance is bliss as you free fall

It doesn't hurts  untill you hit the ground

And shatter.

{ Should I make it " before it sinks into your spirit rather than" heart deep " ?don't love using heart two times, also used meagerly instead of "mere" first which fits better ?} Also not sure about title yet

( Wrote this today Haven't named it yet just completed writing, adding another short one I wrote today it's called, fleeting hues:-)

Today I like yellow, tomorrow it will be purple

All the buds of colours I spread wide until they frey

But I don't give them enough time to bloom

Despite all the colours of my mind

I paint only grey
