I feel something within me ache.

I can't put a finger to it.

Something lost, but the pull is mightier.

Cleave steep like someone lost.

I wish you were here with me,

Embracing me,

Telling me everything will be all right.

And I'll still feel better knowing it's a lie.

I don't know who you are though.

I wonder, but I can't remember.

I have lost someone.

Someone dear.

The hollow in my throat dry.

The pain pricking, screeching at my heart.

Shards sinking deep in,

A hole that doesn't heals.

Leaving me pale as blood beads.

It feels like tears.

It feels like death.

Grim like death.

Fright, misery, anguish.

Pain like death.

Suffering, suffering so strong,

And potent like poison.

The kind only death evokes.

Hollow that only Ash of a loved one leaves.

I have lost someone.

I have lost someone dear.

My tears tell me as they near,

Threatening to drop.

I have lost someone, someone I forgot.
