I’m scared if I let go my obsession will happen

Basically the title. I have been obsessing all day and all night. My obsession hasn’t occurred. I’ve stopped ruminating but it keeps nagging at me and making me feel sick and depressed. Someone have advice….please. I feel hopeless atm.
