Post Body

Hello there,

Recently strange phenomenon is occuring in my mind. I cannot quite grasp it so I am curious about your thoughts about it.

So general scheme is as follows:
1. Spontaneous thought (1 second at best)
2. Instant cease of a thought (my mind goes blank like it would reset)
3. Difficulty with summoning this thought (I don't remember this thought - I know that my mind has just went blank and I know that some thought was just before it, but don't try to ask me what thought, I don't know)

If I really try for some time eventually I can more or less remember what caused my mind to go blank. So there is still some access to this thought. However, I must - often literally - sweat myself to gain this access.

The really thought that is causing my mind to go blank cause anxiety. When my mind goes blank I feel anxiety as well. However, the time this thought is appearing (point 1.) is very short (1sec max) so I am not even able to fully feel the anxiety. Let's say the feeling is semi-anxiety, very small, short and weak burst of anxiety. And then it goes blank.

Is it some kind of compulsion? Or is it some different coping mechanism of my mind? Or maybe it is something else? If there is any specialist reading this post I would absolutely appreciate some comment.

Have a nice day
