So i have had an obsessive fear devlop the past week or two that is kinda specific. Basically i am scared anytime i have to plug in electrical devices, into walls and into devices (chargers and usb ports). I never noticed how precisely constructed outlets and ports are and all i can think about is how im plugging in stuff "wrong" (too rough and or at a weird angle) and damaging my devices.
This has lead me to plugging and unplugging in things over and over to get it "right" which i know probablly will wear out ports over time but its the only thing that can calm this fear down for a bit. What do i do? This is causing me distress and i cant speak to my therapist for like 2 more weeks.
