to start, i am not formally diagnosed with ocd yet as that would require a number of sessions, but the psychiatrist told me i had obsessive compulsive tendencies. i was able to get medication and i want to focus on healingâ slowly. with that, i want to ask, how do you guys deal with the feeling that youâre âblamingâ your intrusive thoughts to psychology and its theories and that youâre not taking accountability over them? my intrusive thoughts sometimes feel like theyâre done on purpose/intentional and every time i reassure myself that i didnât enjoy the thought, i feel like iâm escaping accountability.
