Afraid my kitty reflects my own issues

Post Body

I love my cat willow so much and I spend a lot of time with her, but lately I’ve had this nagging thought that she’s not okay.

Like me, she lives comfortably in a generally beautiful and safe environment, but because of this I’m afraid she suffers from similar issues that I do, mentally. She’s probably completely fine but whenever she does something silly like nuzzling the blanket I immediately start thinking about how that must be indicative of some trauma to do with her kittenhood and being separated from her birth mother.

This is definitely just another weird intrusive thought that I have, and I really wish I didn’t have these sort of thoughts because it tends to make happy things into sad things. Anyway
