Just reaching out to see if anyone can give me an idea of what nurses make in Texas, specifically the Houston area? I know it varies but just a general range. How are the hospitals in this area? I’m thinking of moving here this summer and wanted to prepare myself.
Btw, I’m a native Florida nurse so I’m pretty prepared for the worst (conditions and pay). I looked at pay range online and it’s similar to my pay here in Fl (currently make $42.52/hr) maybe I’m wrong.
ER Nurse in level 1 trauma center, 6 years as RN, BSN and all the ER certs except CEN.
