Pulse Ox for nursing school

I had a Zacurate when I was an EMT and liked it. It sat for a while and the batteries leaked, so it's a goner. I am starting an accelerated nursing program and want to get another one, but wondering if there are any better brands out there that people prefer? thanks!
Edit: I appreciate your comments about my program, but I am only asking for recommendations on brands for a pulse ox. I never said it was required. Mine shit the bed and I personally want another one
