Starting into Non-40k Nurgle - talking about what I got and what to go after?

So, I'm a very happy grandson of Nurgle in the Grimdark future, but I decided with the release of his book in AoS, that I needed to start a AoS army.

So I picked up:
2 Start Collecting Daemons of Nurgle
A rotbringer sorcerer
The Valiant and Vile Kickstarter - to print out 2 5 man Putrid Blightking proxies.

It's a quick and dirty 2k, but are there any units I should NOT include and any units that are an Auto include? Getting models isn't an issue, and I've just started reading the new tome. I love the whole range, so I'm certain I'll be getting mst of it as time goes on, but starting out - are here and needs I should grab?
