Really glad to find this community. My dad was a really positive role model when it came to nudity in the household. He grew up in a generation of men who had zero issues being socially nude (usually locker room, swimming, camping scenarios) and he and my uncles were always comfortable and confident in their nudity around each other and my other male cousins. My dad and I always got ready together in the morning and we were nude the whole time. There was definitely no nudity around my sisters though, which is totally ok with me. He was super supportive and helpful when I had questions about puberty and never made anything weird. In fact, it was seeing all of them completely embrace natural body hair that influenced my preferences to keep things natural. I think of it as masculine, I couldn't wait until I looked like them.
While he and my uncles were completely comfortable being naked around each other, my male cousins and I were definitely shy about it (just generational differences) but looking back at those experiences now at 31 and I wish I would have embraced that more at the time. We had so many opportunities after swimming and camping but we didn't appreciate it at the time. I currently crave that type of non-sexual, nude male bonding. My father is still around but I live across the country now and being home for the holidays isn't conducive for that type of thing. Would love to chat with others who had the same experience or about anything really.
