The goal for this photo was to depict the body in an abstract way. The viewer should need a moment to realize what he/she is looking at, as we all know what the human body looks like but still there are many angles and details giving us the feeling to look at something new (or out of a new perspective). To achieve this, we we wanted to emphasize the bones and the tendons with use of hard contrasts between light and dark. With showing nothing and being kind of sensual at the same time, this is clearly one of our favorite motifs.
