You’re right - it’s a small n and definitely not a representative sample! If I ever come across that kind of meta-analysis, I’ll surely share; hope you’ll ping me if you find the same. Sadly among the downsides of bleeding edge psycholinguistics: little research funding, small studies. Means results need to be taken with more than a grain of salt. But still interesting.
The print version of the journal article comes out in Dec 2020. It’s common practice for academic journals to publish upcoming issues online when they’re ready, usually several months predating the publication date.
