I grabbed a small dinky little pc at the thrift store last year. It was like $2.50 lol. I knew it wasn't great and would maybe play nr2003. It can play it fairly well, but when it comes to recording game play, it lags so much. I was thinking about upgrading some stuff on it. Idk if it would be cheaper to just build it up a bit. But I don't want to sink a ton of money into a pc. I figured this could be a cheaper and easier way.

It's a gateway sx2850 running windows 7 Processor: Intel core i3 cpu 540 @3.07ghz 8 GB Ram 64 bit operating system

My current screen resolution is 1366x768.

What do you guys run with? I want to start checking pricing out and then try to figure out how to do it myself to save some money
