Chloroxymorphamine ( CAS 71360-45-7 )
According to Wikipedia,
It’s “ an opioid and a derivative of oxymorphone which binds irreversibly as an agonist to the μ-opioid receptor.”
What does this mean? It permanently binds to the mu opioid receptor and will induce a state of euphoria and other opioid effects permanently?
Or will your body bc accustomed to the effects after a couple days or less, and develop tolerance and just feel normal?
Or will it eventually start acting like a blocker? Bc the MOR is already occupied, no other opioid will be able to fill the receptor, and it will act similarly to methadone? And if that’s the case, has this ever been explored as a opioid addiction treatment option? I’m really wondering what this would do when ingested ?
