Fellow outdoors folks of Nova Scotia, what is the deal with primitive camping up there?
Post Body

We are avid adventurers and road trippers who prefer to create our own camp setup off of logging/access roads to stay away from the crowds. We'll be up that way in mid/late August and will be traveling up along the coastline from Halifax and into/around Cape Breton. We're experienced campers/travelers and not the type to be obnoxious or leave a mess anywhere. We also totally understand not wanting to give away any secret spots, so feel free to PM me with any recommendations you may have and that you want to keep on the down low. Thanks for any advice or recs in advance! Looking forward to exploring your beautiful region for the first time.
