After listening to this podcast since week 1 I finally played for the first time last night. My secret santa got me a starter set so the party is going through the list mine of phandelver campaign. I dm'ed and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I still have some rules to clarify but we are playing again next week. Here are some of the shenanigans of the night:

1) I rolled a Nat 1 on my goblin ambush so instead of jumping the party they tripped on a root into the parties path

2) my folk hero shot a goblins dick off, this set up a precedent of cutting enemies dicks off.

3) 2 goblins surrendered, after being interrogated they were brutally killed

4) a bear named kuruk has been nicknamed woof by the party because they like the idea of a friendly bear wooing through the woods

5)i am no longer the dm, after someone got confused and called me the grand wizard it stuck

I can't wait to see what happens next week when I'm more confident. I also used naddpo, zelda and LOTR music in the background and they lived it. Just wanted to share how much fun I had all thanks to the band of boobs.
