Hi all, I'm a 37/m from the USA and could use some help. When I was little (around 6-8 years old) , at Thanksgiving and Christmas my grandmother would give a blessing spoken in Norwegian (our heritage). It was a blessing that was passed down through the generations but she died before I could learn it. I have found a picture of the blessing that my great aunt has, but I don't speak the language so I don't know how to recite it without butchering it and I don't know exactly what it means...
I know I'm asking a lot and I apologize for my rambling, but if someone would be willing to translate it for me I would really appreciate it...I would owe you so much more if you could teach me how to say it properly so I can pay respect to my grandmother and my heritage, along with helping bring back some fond childhood memories, I would be forever grateful. If you'd be willing to help shoot me a dm or a private message.
Thank you all in advance!
