Hei I'm planning to move at some point, probably after my bachelor so gonna take a while, but being from the Netherlands I'm painfully aware of how many people come here ignorant of the housing situation and just want to be better informed beforehand. I doubt it will be worse than the Netherlands anywhere though. It's not just the overpriced private housing but you can easily wait over 10 years to get social housing here. Foreign students aren't spared and universities started telling people to stay away because many ended up homeless.

I do plan to study a masters first so I'm wondering about housing both for students and after that. Can it ever be as bad as it is here?
