When is it time to start fireplaces in winter?
Post Body
Hei. Californian here, who has never started a fireplace before. My house is not that well insulated and keeping the heaters on it’s costing too much, so im tempting to buy one or two m3 of pine in order to start using the house fireplace. But I haven’t seen any other house in my city that has smoke coming out. So i was wondering if norwegians wait for the colder months to start the fireplace? Or am i overthinking it about being the only house with smoke in the whole area?

You guys complaining about high electricity prices and then actually seeing what you pay always cracks me up.
Double that price and you're at the bare minimum of what Europe pays.
