Shoes for winter

Post Body

Hello, I'm from Australia and visiting Norway in January. I'm wondering if it's worth buying winter boots for a short trip (< 2 weeks) or if you can get away with wearing normal boots eg docs with wool socks (we don't wear winter boots in Australia that often). If it helps, we'll be spending most of our time in Bergen and Tromso sightseeing, doing some winter activities but not hiking

Thanks!!

Comments

I would buy some anti-slip grips cause it's not really the cold that will get you but the icy surfaces. You can pretty much buy them anywhere.
