Hi, I'm an expat considering moving to Tromsø in Northern Norway. As part of that, I wanted to look up what the internet is like, but most ISP's I found so far want me to give them all my contact details and address so they can send me a private offer for that exact address instead of having publicly visible price lists, which feels bizarre and highly unusual compared to my previous experiences in other countries, so I'm asking here:
Which ISP's are considered the better ones? Can I realistically get a symmetric 1000/1000 mbit fibre connection? If yes, how much would that cost me?
I tried to search this subreddit for similar questions but all I found was from years ago and thus potentially outdated.

The thing you're not understanding is that you need to send them personal information for something that doesn't need your personal information.
Why do they want my name and phone number when all it needs is an address? There is no need for them to need my personal information.
Seeing how Norway is riddled with scam calls and emails these days I wouldn't just want to give out my info unnecessary.
That's the only reason why they want that information after all.
