Advice for Norwegian Halloween
Post Body

Hello everyone. I am a brand new immigrant parent with a newborn in Norway. As a result, me and my SO have decided to start engaging in kids' activities more often or, at least, getting more familiar with them. Halloween is arriving and I want to know what are the related rituals in Norway. I have seen my neighbors offering candies for children and I don't know how should I make children realize we can also offer candies. Which kind of candies we should give them, how much and so on. Would you please be so gentle to guide me through the rituals and expectations from a parent for a Norwegian Halloween? Thanks

Almost every kid in Norway goes trick or treating at the 31st around 18:00 to 22:00

Maybe in your neighborhood but it certainly isn't everywhere or standard.
