Photo tips? Getting that Arctic blue.

It was incredible this morning. The pastel shades of pink and blue, the subtle purple in the orange off that mountain. And then the moon to boot. But not so much in the photo. :/ (Samsung Note 9).

To the northern photographers, how do you capture what I'm describing? I have a more legit camera, curious for settings.

Yes I could google this, but maybe more interesting and connecting to try y'all here first.

Besides what the others already mentioned (RAW and post processing) remember composition.

Right now 3/4 of the photo is empty boring sky. There is nothing happening in the sky so compose your shot to have way less of it.

UV filters do absolutely nothing. The only thing people use UV filters for is to protect their lens incase they bump into something.
