Hello there. I didn't see any post about it, so I make one so people know.
Zerator is a big French streamer, and he has played Northgard in the past. He created a multigaming lan called "Zlan", where around 10 different games are played. The cashprize is a bit over 50K€ for each edition. Half of participants are streamers (selected by how many views (not viewers, views) streamers have on Twitch), and regular people chosen randomly.
For the Zlan 2023, Northgard will be played there. That means some streamers will stream northgard while they train for the lan, and will also be shown during the LAN. Zlan finals usually have a big peak of viewers, I believe around 300K viewers last year.
I think for a small game like Northgard that is a nice exposition and might bring new players to the game. I believe (not sure), Zlan a big reason why they added a spectator mode.
