Post Body

So im homeless and for the past week i have been sleeping ONLY on a staircase. Usually a guy comes around 2am and tell me to set my alarm for 5:30. Then i hear nothing until 7 when someone starts banging for others to wake up and leave. Boom. End of story. Everything is fine no issue.

Well tonight, 2 others come around at midnight and tell me to leave. I started to, but im too tired and they have yet to get to the guy right below me. So i just lay back down. 5min later they come back and I ignore them. 5 min later they tell the guy below. Then silence for another 5min before the police come. I tell them its public parking and they say it perferred parking. The name of the parking enforcers. They tell me they will take me to jail for tresspassing if i dont leave. Me having a perfect record, dont want that so i give them mouth as im leaving.

So my question is, should I have take them on that offer? How long will and can they hold me? Is there a bail? I heard stories of people doing minor crimes just to get a bed. Im not bothering anyone so its not like im commiting a crime. I have a job so i didnt want to put that at risk. But if they just hold me overnight....
