Post Body

I recently got a letter from the DMV regarding my insurance lapsing. I started a new policy with State Farm immediately after I was told my insurance lapsed. It took a few days for them to get me covered, so I had to drive in order to get to work. There is one box on the letter I need to check that is stressing me out. It says “Did you knowingly operate the above vehicle without liability insurance coverage?”. Will I face any punishment if I say yes to that, or am I just able to pay it and be fine. Any advice helps as I have never had this happen before. I’m aware of what happens if I don’t pay it, I’m just worried about answering this question honestly.

Edit. Problem has been solved. No longer need help, thank you for those who have advice.
