Yes. I tried telling my dad about my religion once, and he shot me down before I could say anything meaningful. “There’s only one god and that is the lord, you’re talking nonsense.” At the time, I felt hurt. However, I laugh now, as he’s Christian and his beliefs are nonsense to me.
