Hello all, I just wanted to start off by stating that I have no affiliation with ND. I have been doing research this past year into ways to improve my T levels as I have been not feeling adequate lately after a brain injury testicular injury. I didn't know for sure if it was T because my doctor was telling me that my T levels were fine, but I was skeptical. Unfortunately he would not offer me any full comprehensive hormonal blood tests but I have some basic blood test results to show.
The first blood test was taken on November 22nd, 2022. The second blood test was taken on April 27th, 2023. The following supplements were taken almost daily during this entire duration:
- Magnesium Glycinate (200mg Daily)
- Vitamin D3 (4000iu Daily)
- Creatine (5g Daily)
- Oyster Extract Powder (2g Daily)
- Cistanche (200mg Daily)
- Shilajit (250mg Daily)
- Coordyceps 10:1 (500mg Daily)
- Agmatine (500mg Daily) / (Mood Booster)
- L-Carnosine (1000mg Occasionally) / (Only Sometimes For Extra Mental Clarity)
- Pregnenolone (5mg Occasionally) / (Helps Combat Low Estrogen Sides If Needed)
I have to say that I have been noticing all of the positive effects of the testosterone boost and will continue taking these supplements going forward. I was very skeptical about nootropics at first but I am now a believer as I have experienced all of the benefits and more first hand. I now have energy to workout like I never have before and am currently in the best shape I've ever been in.
Testosterone Before: 475.5 ng/dl
TSH Before: 0.51 mIU/L
Testosterone After: 697.4 ng/dl
TSH After: 0.94 mIU/L
No Free Test or Estrogen panels to show but I'm still feeling the positive effects regardless.
Disadvantages vs. TRT protocol: More Expensive, More To Obtain, Most Likely Less Effective Overall
Advantages vs. TRT protocol: Can stop using at any time with essentially no sides. Doesn't shut down your natural testosterone production but rather ramps it up temporarily increasing your testicle size.
Extra Info: 31 yr old Male, 6'2 / 165lbs (Skinny). Drive and confidence way up. Thanks ND!
Update: 05/24/2023 - I was blasting this stack very heavily for about 6 months before starting to notice any sides. Sometimes I'd even double up on recommended doses some days. I started experiencing what I would perceive as low e2 symptoms and my bloodwork would seem to confirm this. Luckily it wasn't completely crashed into the ground though so I've started incorporating Horny Goat Weed in order to trigger some additional aromatization from testosterone into estrogen as well as consuming more estrogenic foods such as dairy.
Update 06/03/2023 - The extra added estrogens from the Horny Goat Weed foods such as dairy seem to be making me feel rebalanced again. This experiment has also shown me the importance of estrogen in feeling good. It is all about having a balanced ratio between testosterone and estrogen.
