With your calorie limit set to 1410, what is reasonable to expect to spend on each meal?
Post Body

I know that's a wonky question and probably different for each person. It's possible I just need some moral support. :)

I'm a little bit more than 2 months into Noom. For the first 1.5 months I focused entirely on getting used to the color system and paid zero attention to calories. Over that time I lost slightly less than 5 pounds, which is fine as I'm trying to learn new healthy eating behaviors. Once I got better at eating more green than red, my coach asked me to set a new goal, so I thought I would then try to stick to the daily calorie limit (and also the color system of course).

Sticking to the calorie limit has been much harder. I've been eating mostly or entirely green breakfasts for around 250 calories which is good. But the closer breakfast is to 200, the more likely I'm grabbing a Kind bar mid-morning for another 150 calories.

Lunch has been around 520 calories, I don't often need an afternoon snack, and dinner is generally around 750. So as you can see, I'm averaging around 1670 total daily calories.

My coach asked me (maybe rhetorically, but definitely Socratically) what I can do to bring my dinner calories down. The obvious answer is to eat more green foods at dinner, too. But it's not sounding appealing to eat fruit and veggies for all three meals of the day, every day. I know that shellfish is green, so I have been eating more of that. But still, ugh. I'm either losing motivation or getting frustrated, not sure. I want to eat better but I also want a more varied diet.
