I'm 53, married, and we're polyamorous. Or ethically non-monogamous, or whatever term is preferred this week. The definitions seem kinda fluid and flexible and I really don't want to get hung up on it. Polyamorous works for me, so I use that.

So what am I posting on Reddit for? Well, a real woman, for one. I'm so tired of scammers and fakes and bullshit. I just want to meet someone real. Even if it doesn't go anywhere, to have an actual conversation with someone who is who they say they are would be so refreshing.

What kind of person do I want to meet? Well, I'm not terribly concerned about age or size or any of that. I'm more into personality and shared interests and being able to have an intelligent conversation and that sort of thing.

What kind of relationship do I want? Well, first, I do want a relationship. I mean, one night stands have their place and can be fun, but I prefer something long term. Having said that, I don't make demands on what kind of relationship it is. I don't believe you can define a relationship beforehand. "Let it be what it's going to be," pretty much sums up my philosophy on that. I have limits, of course, but I'm pretty flexible about it all.

I could talk about my likes and favorite movies and what I do in my free time and all that, but I'd rather get into a conversation with someone where we learn that kind of thing about each other. Still, I suppose some basic information is in order. I'm a little over 6 feet tall, around <mumble, mumble> pounds. Average dad bod, I think. I like science fiction and fantasy. I read a lot, love movies and TV shows, play D&D and listen to electronic music. I like the beach, and wandering around the woods, people watching, and taking a road I've never been down just to see what's there. I think I'm funny, somewhat attractive, and respectful.
