I’ve spent the last 8 years in a very loving and wonderful relationship with my very best friend and soulmate (26F, Bisexual), and we’ve spent all but the first couple years of that time open. We’ve been married for 4 years, enjoying the tax benefits and the lack of outside judgment (she comes from a rather uptight family), though neither of us really views the marriage itself as having an impact on our relationship. More just an outside recognition of it. Nothing about our dynamic changed on account of getting married.

Not to “make it even” as it were, but so that we can both share the joys of compersion, so that we can both have someone to spend time with when the other is unavailable, and, though this is less important, because my wife has some interest in the possibilities of group sexual activities (her FWB has so far not shown much interest in participating in anything like that).
