The connections I’m looking for are deep and comfortable. Shared interests, openness, playful repartee, that slow burn of chemistry and anticipation that’s sure to result in fireworks. I’m looking for emotional intelligence, electric conversation, and physical attraction. Those bits of magic in the mundane everyday that let you remember what it is to be human.
I crave that elusive combination of engaging comfortable conversation that moves naturally into exploration of desires and each other. Simultaenously, I don't believe that love, lust, devotion, or intimacy require expectations or next-steps. Things are what they are, and much of the time what they are is beautiful without comparison or labels.
I'm wordy, flowy, a sometimes poet and always writer. Fluent in sarcasm and silliness in equal measure, and kind, but not nice if you back me into a corner. I'm a raging feminist, and don't have the patience for folks who don't believe in a woman's right to choose, that black lives matter, and that our system is inherently racist and misogynistic. *I can't smash the patriarchy while banging someone who doesn't believe it exists.*
In the last year I've gone whole hog in letting go of fear, fucks about what other people think, and the remnants of any cares I had about whether it sounds crazy when I say I'm a witch and my magic comes alive through human connection. I'm an empath, polyamorous, sex-positive, and into arts & crafts, cinnamon buns, spreadsheets, and dinosaurs. I'm fat and sexy, if that seems oxymoronic to you, just keep scrolling. There are photos in my profile, take a look before you message.
Gender is a construct, and my sexuality is evolving. It's weird to be a baby anything at 42 years old, but when I say I'm a baby queer it fits. I have mostly dated cis men until recently, and I'm really interested in dating and loving other types of lovely humans at this point. I'm working on unpacking how much of my past sexuality was inherent and how much was based on expectations and force-fed messages. I have a girlfriend who is my heart & soul, a joyfriend enby partner I see less often than I'd like, and room in my heart for more.
Not sure what to say in a first message? Here are some free ideas:
* If you had to describe yourself using 6 fictional characters, what would your mashup be?
* The funniest photo or meme you have on your phone.
* Chili: beans or no beans?
