A Concept I Hate As An Enby - "Boys/Girls Night Out"
Post Body

Recently I think I've noticed that I was very socially isolated when I was younger at least in part because there tends to be some level, even in a minor way, of gender segregation when it comes to social activities. It really hurt to be ousted from boys groups because I was AFAB, but not feel quite comfortable in girls groups. Even as an adult, I was asked not to attend a Magic: The Gathering night because it was assumed that neither I nor the group of guys would feel comfortable being themselves because of my sex. Luckily I have a group of friends now that don't do this. Has anyone else ever found this annoying?
