[TW: mental health issues] anyone here with BPD, or other issues where they regularly encounter “unstable identity and sense of self”.....?
Post Body

How do you feel that affects your perception of gender or do you feel like it affects your perception of gender? I recently came out as non-binary and I realize the constant self invalidation is apart of both being nb and bpd.....it just feels so hard sometimes to figure out who I want to be and how I want to be treated and how I identify when it changes from day to day to day. I want to make impulsive changes but then I immediately worry I’ll regret it not long after and feel hated and ostracized. It’s been causing me a lot of stress and I’m not sure how to deal with this or bring it up with my therapist.....does anyone else struggle with this? How have you navigated coming out and any transitioning you have done?
