Hello folx, this may include some personal topics around navigating the trans community for me. I'll keep it short. It seems a lot of Trans-Fem or Trans-Masc leaning groups are somewhat toxic towards people who don't fit the gender binary and more so the stereotypical transgender binary. Also here Transfem groups are just for AMAB trans people and Transmasc groups are just for AFAB trans people. Even if they allow non-binary people it's kind of a looked down thing especially if you aren't the correct AGAB associated person with that community group. Also if you are a trans woman or a trans man and get gender affirming procedures that differ or that aren't common you may be looked down on as not a real trans person. (usually by people who are post op) not all the time but definitely have seen this community. I really want to create a "Trans Distraction and Authenticity Vibey Group" someday in my community as it gets exhausting talking about trans stuff. I just want a place for trans people without them having the main topic being about "being trans" since gender is so individual and diverse.
