I came out and there was no negative reaction but after stating my pronouns multiple times my mother still referred to me as "him" which left me with a very bittersweet feeling check!

That’s good that there was no negative reactions! I’m proud of you for coming out and I’m sure this whole community will be. Coming out is scary- I’m sure that with a bit of time your mum will get used to your pronouns, just gotta stay strong and don’t be shy to correct your mum.
