Graduated from my group therapy program last night. Huge accomplishment of mine! The group members went around and spoke on their experience with myself and one other member who was graduating. One of the members (he/they) had joined a few weeks ago and I'd only attended group with him two or three times.

As they spoke to me, he goes on to say how validating it felt to be in group with another nonbinary person....which caught me off guard because I'd never mentioned being NB/GF/GNC during group and the only clue to my transness was my (they/she) pronouns on Zoom. It made me tear up because his words were so genuine, sweet, kind, and comforting. I felt seen without having to announce myself.
