Post Body

Just hyping up the fact I was raised with parents who are artists, and definitely instilled some great ideas in me about how your gender does NOT define what you can enjoy.

My dad does the gardening and cooking most days, while my mom is in charge of money. Both things that, as I’ve gotten older, I appreciate about them so much just for the sake of having me experience a bit more of an open minded environment. He plays piano and sings, while she keeps up with the news and is always reading something new. I just look back and think- well no wonder im so adverse to gender-expectations.

Also, they’re both black belts. Couple of badasses.
