HR at my company of 50k employees asked me if I would allow them to do a profile on me for pride month. I am really excited about it, but at the same time I'm really worried about them wanting to represent me as a trans woman. I may be a girl, but only a much a in that I'm a demigirl, but in reality genderfae is the most accurate description. Should I expose my entire company to the complexity that is my gender? Has anyone else had this kind of exposure but been represented in a way that wasnt really accurate? I'm not sure what I'm looking for with this post other than to let some of this stress out.
