What do you think for my idea of a future side by side comparison?
Post Body

So I have an idea that I would like to hear some thoughts about. But first let me give you a lil background. I have been growing on and on for the last ten years or so. I have been into notil for 5 or so years before that prior to moving to Coloradoā€¦just learning and reading.

Once I got here I had a couple 8 lighters and first started with ā€œbottledā€ organic nutes(botanicare pure blend is what I think it was called), then went to salts(cyco nutes) then in the last couple years I used BuildASoil bagged soil (24 20 gallon containers) with notil practices.

I then started soil testing a getting recommendations and the quality got even better. I had my ups and downs and learned so much over that time. Recently I built 300ish gallons of coots mix and Iā€™m running 2 4x4 beds in a 4x8 tent(itā€™s crazy I have never flowered in a tent before now).

Iā€™m hoping to get a house in the country soon and I would like to build out a large grow again. Iā€™m thinking 2 rooms 12 lights(6 in each room) and run 1 4x4 bed under each light.

At this point I have created a fertility program that works well. I mostly stick to BAS feed schedule with some additions. Additionally I add a compost tea in every other week during flower using DragonFly Earth Medicine Teas and on the opposite week I top dress using mostly BAS products with some additional products.

My growing style has produced some of the best flower I can find. However I know I can do better. Also I donā€™t always know what is working and what is not. Just kind of a hunch. I figured if I get the opportunity Iā€™d like to truly find out what works and what doesnā€™t.

So here my ideaā€¦when I start my new grow I would like to run a different fertility program in each bed. Otherwise everything will be the same. Same strains, same environment, same lights, same soil, etc. I would try my best to limit variability as much as I can. Iā€™m thinking 12 different beds. 12 different organic feed programs including the one I currently use. Otherwise I will keep everything the same.

The goal is to see what produces the best quality and also what yields the best. I will use the first few runs to narrow it down to what is the best. And then at that point I would build a new feed program and possible combine what I believe works best. Here are what I think I would run in each bed:

1) my current program

2)BAS full feed schedule with none of my tweaks

3)Organics Alive

4)Blue Gold

5)KIS Organics

6)Anbessa Organics

7)Mountain Organics

8)Green Grow

9)DragonFlyEarth Medicine

10) Water only

11)The feed and fertility program of a very respected consultant

12)(this one is tricky and somewhat controversial ) Salt based fertilizer so I can try my hand at a bio-synthetic (might have to get rid of the bed after that lol)

Iā€™d like to hear some thoughts on this idea and if anyone can think of a feed program that I am missing. I have considered a KNF style but I doubt I would try that for now. Iā€™m also limited to 12 styles. If you think this is crazy please tell me why. I have been called a garden tweaker(by someone I highly respect) because Iā€™m always adding(less is more and KISS and all that jazz). But the proof is in the pudding and I grow some killer herb.
