Why does the mail always deliver in the afternoon?
Post Body

Everywhere I've lived (multiple US states and cities), the mail (USPS, UPS, and FedEx) always deliver in the afternoon. I've never had my mail or packages before 12pm. When you track things it says "out for delivery" at 9AM, so they're starting their routes in the morning. But I never see the mail trucks on the streets in the mornings. Where are they going in the AM? Or do they not start till later?
