Why do some people find humor in death?

And I’m definitely talking about what happened on this date 21yrs ago since I’ve seen tons of jokes today on it and puns with more and more support and written laugher. This falls in line with the dead baby jokes, holocaust jokes and all that other dark humor that always involves someone dying as a means of getting a laugh out. I don’t understand it. Call me daft but where is the humor?
