So ofc you would lose any assets that are the subject of your crimes etc and lose your income from your job or whatever, but say hypothetically that you're sentenced for a long time for something serious like murder, do you still profit from things like Intellectual property like patents, copyright, royalties etc? Or from investments like stocks or property? Assuming they have nothing to do with your crime?
I also appreciate this is different based on jurisdiction but would be interested to know what the law is where you are
