I bought a couch and didn't know it was broken until I got there said eh I can fix it

Spoiler alert I can't fix it
So my issue it the people before me some how ripped and unscrewed the arm rest of this sectional its a 2 piece sectional but right now it's 3 piece.
I have removed some of the fabric and I noticed boards missing
Where can I find a photo of how an arm rest attaches to the rest of the sofa of also the legs are on the arm rest so it actually needs to suport it
I can not figure this out and I'm on day 3
