Which local officials should I talk to about increasing police presence in my neighborhood?

My neighborhood has a drug problem and my neighbors and I would like for an increase in police presence.
When I say âofficialsâ, Iâm not referring to elected officials or politicians but rather people who work inside and closest to law enforcement agencies: higher ups inside city and/or county departments (sheriffâs agency, city policeâŚ).
Calling non-emergency number for âdrive-bysâ is not enough.
