Why do musicians feel the need to say how quickly they wrote a song?

Sometimes they be like "I wrote this one in four hours here goes nothing"
It really just goes to lower expectations of the final product. And if the song is bad? Hey they wrote it in 4 hours.
Also I can get a shit ton of work done quickly with enough caffeine, panic, or a well timed manic episode like bitch you not special.
