I’m currently out of my home state and my Ring alarm has gone off twice in the middle off the night since I’ve been away.

I called 911 the first time but since I was not in the same area as my home, they couldn’t connect me with a dispatcher local to my home. Instead, 911 connected with me to the local police department but I live in a small town so it’s difficult to speak to a live person at the police dept at night.

Is there a better way to reach a 911 dispatcher local to your home when you’re away on vacation?
